  • Train faculty to create question banks.
  • Improve exam systems through standards that align with college characteristics and the university’s general exam framework.

  • Clarify the unit’s mission and the concept of assessment.
  • Provide technical support for various evaluation processes.
  • Plan policies and objectives for assessment at the college level.
  • Establish enhanced exam evaluation systems.
  • Automate student and exam evaluation processes (question creation and correction).
  • Build and categorize question banks per program objectives and standards.

Roles

  • Ensure exams meet university standards and necessary criteria, in collaboration with academic departments.
  • Issue periodic statistics and reports on evaluation practices, sending them to the Quality Assurance Unit and University Exams & Evaluation Center.
  • Coordinate the creation of question banks for selected courses.
  • Identify training needs for evaluation systems and exams across the college’s programs.
  • Organize and implement training sessions with the university’s training center.
  • Promote a culture of assessment within the college.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Unit to enhance exam and evaluation systems.
