Unit’s Mission

To ensure the implementation of quality assurance systems and accreditation standards across educational programs, scientific research, community service, and educational and physical resources; to promote a culture of quality among targeted groups; and to oversee the preparation of periodic institutional performance reports.

Relations with Students

  • Build trust bridges between students, faculty, and college administration.
  • Raise student awareness of the importance of educational quality enhancement, accreditation philosophy, and its vital role in achieving goals.
  • Gather student feedback on the educational process, university curriculum, faculty, and assessment methods.
  • Use student opinions in developing improvement and enhancement plans for teaching effectiveness and institutional capacity.

Key Activities

  • Support and monitor college leadership in achieving its mission and strategic goals.
  • Oversee academic activities: setting standards, describing programs/courses, preparing course reports, and planning improvements.
  • Schedule preparation, monitoring, and review of annual (self assessment) reports based on the National Authority for Quality Assurance standards.
  • Monitor and develop student assessment systems and train faculty on modern evaluation methods.
  • Implement the documented annual work plan via technical committees; run awareness campaigns on quality culture for all stakeholders.
  • Activate internal and external review mechanisms for program evaluation (e.g., external reviewers, final-year students, graduates, employers).
  • Build databases and prepare data/statistics on college activities, human resources, resources per program, student services, community-service activities, environment development, postgraduate programs, and research activities.
