Professor Dr. Naeem Rabeh explained that the seminar addressed how artificial intelligence (AI) can assist in diagnosing and even predicting nutrition-related diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, by analyzing patients’ health data. It also explored the use of AI in analyzing and simplifying large-scale nutritional data, and in providing personalized dietary recommendations based on an individual’s health status and genetic profile.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness about AI technologies in the field of clinical nutrition and demonstrated how these technologies can be employed to improve patient health, discover new opportunities for diagnosis and treatment, and deliver more accurate and effective healthcare. It also focused on developing the skills of students and professionals in the health sector to interact with modern technologies and apply them in enhancing therapeutic nutrition systems.

Furthermore, the seminar encouraged scientific research on integrating AI with clinical nutrition sciences, in pursuit of innovative and effective therapeutic solutions. Students also participated in discussions about the limitations and advantages of using AI in clinical nutrition, and the extent of its influence on the job market.

This seminar falls within the university’s broader efforts to promote research and innovation and affirms the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements in clinical nutrition, given its direct impact on public health.
